Park - Cherry Orchard Olney once produced a commercial crop of cherries. Even today, Olney has the Cherry Fayre - a leftover from what remained of the harvest was sold off. This became a time of celebration for the town. Not far form The Glebe (the field in front of St.Peter and St.Paul church) where the fayre is still held, you will find this small oasis of gardens and trees. The Cherry orchard has shaded areas to sit and if you can't make it to the river meadows, somewhere to have a picnic too. Either access it from Church Street (take a cut-through next to the Old Rectory), or from Pegasus Court or behind Stanley Court.
