Orienteering Orienteering is a challenging outdoor adventure sport enjoyed by people of all ages. They use a specially drawn map to navigate between control points in a set order. Orienteering can take place anywhere from remote forest and countryside to urban parks and school playgrounds. However the most challenging orienteering takes place in remote areas which have demanding terrain and fewer paths. For those wanting to try orienteering the club is running a series of 'KeyneO'events in the parks of Milton Keynes over coming months for those wanting to try their hand at the sport. SMOC - or the South Midland Orienteering Club is the local club. |
