For help finding it, call the Travel Information Office (01604)545966 Directions from from the A428 Bedford/Town Centre/Barnes Meadow interchange: Take the 2nd exit from the roundabout – A428 Town Centre Get into right hand lane, and turn right at the traffic lights (Cliftonville Road) Continue up Cliftonville Road until the next set of traffic lights Turn left at the lights into the hospital entrance Standard visiting hours are: 2.30pm to 4.00pm and 6.30pm to 8.30pm The exceptions are: Emergency Assessment Unit (EAU): open visiting Intensive Therapy Unit (ITU) and High Dependency Unit (HDU): open visiting, except for rest period between 1.00pm – 3.00pm
Disney and Paddington (children’s wards): open visiting for parents; other visitors at the discretion of nursing staff Gosset (neonatal ward): open visiting for parents and two nominated visitors each day Sturtridge (labour ward): open visiting for birthing partners only Sandringham and Robert Watson (maternity wards): 3.00pm – 5.00pm; 7.00pm – 9.00pm Please do not go to the hospital if you have been unwell in the last 48 hours, or have a communicable disease such as a viral infection. A maximum of three visitors per bed at any one time is allowed, at the discretion of the nurse in charge. The exceptions are ITUand HDU where two visitors per bed is the maximum. The Trust offers car parking for visitors, although parking is a significant problem between 9.00am and 4.00pm. |
