Marston Vale Forest Centre is a conservation centre in the Millennium Country Park. The Forest covers sixty-one square miles of Bedfordshire, planted at the turn of the Century. This is young by forestry standards, but there's a growing number of beautiful woodlands, wetlands and open spaces.
For walkers and cyclists there's 8km of surfaced paths allowing you to visit this wetland nature reserve and adventure playground... all traffic free.
The park is open all year round. Entry is FREE, and there is plenty of parking.
You can enjoy a drink at the Lakeside bar and café - all proceeds are ploughed back into creating the Forest.
The Marston Vale Millennium Country Park and Forest Centre were designed from the outset to be accessible to as many people as possible - including the provision of good wheelchair and pushchair access. All-terrain wheel chairs are available for loan, free of charge.
Outside, many of the Country Park pathways are designed for wheeled access - with a variety of routes available to give you the freedom to choose how far you want to go.
