Connecting Olney Olney - Where Women Connect A new Social Club for Women living in and around Olney interested to make new friends, exchange new ideas and enjoy new experiences. Whether you are single, married, divorced, or widowed, whether you are married with young children and would like the opportunity to get out of the house from time to time to meet other women or whether you just got divorced or have lost a loved one and would like to make new friends near you, you are all welcome to join. Our get together will include: morning coffees, afternoon teas, lunch or dinner parties in a local pub or restaurant and group outings to visit local places of interest, art exhibitions, matinees at the theatre, ten pin bowling nights out and shopping trips to local towns.

Members Women of all ages are welcome. This is all about making new friends, having a laugh while enjoying yourself and discussing new ideas and new opportunities and always supporting each other. Every month we will have a series of outings for you to enjoy. These do not have to be in large groups but can be enjoyed by only 3 or 4 people at a time. But it could also be group outings to a museum or an antique fair or just getting together for a walk in the park!
There will also be weekend events to accommodate those who work.

Our Membership Fee is £5.00 per month to cover our administration and advertising expenses. It can either be paid online. You can also pay for more than a month at a time if it is easier for you. Members will also benefit from special group discounts.
But if you only want to attend the occasional event, you can "pay as you go" and pay £2.00 to join when you come. But you will have to pay full cost if you want to join us for special group outings such as theatre, etc.
Events involving group bookings will need to be paid in advance to cover either the hire of a venue or groups tickets for the theatre or any other group outing.

- Saturday 8th May - 2.30pm Matinee at The Theatre in MK to see "Strictly Tap Dance Fever" - Ticket Price £20.00 - if you are interested you will need to contact us and pay in advance, either online via our website or by sending a cheque to Annie (See details on payments page)
- Thursday 13th May - Drinks at The 2 Brewers - 6.30 pm
- Saturday 22nd May - 3.00pm Afternoon Tea at Frosts in Woburn Sands + visit garden centre
- Thursday 27th May - 4.00pm Shopping Trip to Milton Keynes + meal (Venue TBA) |
