Boughton House Boughton House is the Northamptonshire Home of the Duke and Duchess of Buccleuch and Queensbery and is celebrated both for its architecture and the Fine Art collection within. "The English Versailles" is one of the great houses of Europe. There are superb collections of paintings, furniture, tapestries, needlework, carpets, procelain, arms and silver. Boughton House opens throughout August or by prior appointment for groups, is administered by the Living Landscape Trust. visitors are also welcome to view the 18th Century Designed Landscape, key elements of which have been restored. No charge is made for wheelchair users and those assisting them. Opening hours:Park and tea room open, 12 noon - 5pm
